Biopsy

We perform high-precision biopsy examinations that allow for the timely and accurate identification of tissue changes, enabling the selection of the most appropriate treatment strategy. Biopsy is a safe and effective diagnostic method during which a sample of tissue or cells is collected for further laboratory analysis.

These examinations are carried out under the supervision of experienced medical specialists and guided by ultrasound imaging, ensuring both the accuracy and safety of the procedure.

Available types of biopsies at our center:

• Fine needle aspiration biopsy, during which cells are collected from the area of concern using a thin needle, followed by cytological examination;
• Core needle biopsy, where a tissue sample is obtained from the area of concern using a special needle, followed by histological analysis;
• Thyroid gland biopsy;
• Breast tissue biopsy;
• Lymph node biopsy;
• Biopsy of the neck and superficially located soft tissue formations;
• Salivary glands biopsy;
• Liver biopsy.

Biopsy results provide detailed information about the nature of the changes, which is essential for establishing an accurate diagnosis and developing an effective treatment plan.
